Common questions
Do I need a business bank account?
No. To start you only need the Bakong account id shown in your bank app. A merchant account and an official gateway are optional, for larger shops.
Do my customers need Telegram?
No. Your shop opens as an ordinary web page, so customers from Facebook or TikTok can buy normally. Connecting Telegram is optional and happens after the order.
Does it work with banks other than ABA?
The QR is KHQR, so a customer can scan it from any Bakong-member bank app. Full automatic matching currently reads ABA’s notifications — for other banks you still have the one-tap confirm.
If I stop using it, do I lose my data?
No. You can export orders, customers and products to CSV at any time, and you can delete your bot yourself.
Do I need a computer?
No. Most of the daily work happens through buttons in Telegram itself. The dashboard works on a phone too.
Does TeleStore take a cut of my sales?
No. You pay a flat monthly price. Your customers’ money goes straight to your own bank account — it never passes through us.
